Branding, Website

Introduction

Thera is a payroll and banking platform for global teams helping fast-growing startups pay employees, contractors, and vendors in 150+ countries from one place.

Challenge

Thera was asking people to trust it with something deeply personal which is payroll, while competing against established players like Deel and Gusto with years of built-up trust. As an early-stage, YC-backed startup, it couldn't afford a slow brand-building runway; it needed to feel instantly credible without losing the speed and directness its founder audience expects.

Strategy

I pulled the identity back to a near-monochrome black-and-white system so real numbers and real customer proof carried the weight. Copy stayed short, direct and founder-to-founder, also every headline led with an outcome backed by a specific stat & named partner, with the product UI itself doing most of the storytelling.

Outcome

The brand landed as both institutionally calm and startup-fast at once credible enough for payroll, quick enough for founders who move fast. It scaled cleanly across Thera's growing product suite, turned competitor comparisons into a real conversion lever and gave the brand a credibility signal that outpaced its funding stage.

Let's build something remarkable and grow your business.
